During the test the locomotives will not be equipped with Swedish ATC system. Consequently there will be no ATC tests this time.
The tests will focus on other issues regarding the interaction between the locomotives and the Swedish infrastructure.
Next step in a possible purchase process will be ATC tests. The 1012 locomotives have engine rotors with an unsatisfying design. The problem is well known and the solution is well defined as well. Before they can be taken into reliable operation these rotors must be exchanged.
