Alexander Hedderich to join the Hector Rail Group board of directors

Hector Rail Group board of directors has recently been strengthened by the appointment of Alexander Hedderich, effective as of November 15th. Hedderich has more than 25 years of experience from senior roles in the rail and logistics industry, including serving as CEO of DB Schenker Rail during 2009-2015.

“I am pleased to welcome Alexander Hedderich to the board of directors. He has extensive experience from the industry and will be a great addition to the Hector Rail Group board” said Bo Lerenius, Chairman of the board of Hector Rail Group.

Mr. Lerenius continues: “Alexander will play an important role in the Group’s effort to drive growth in Continental Europe, which is a key step towards our vision of becoming the leading independent pan-European rail freight operator.”
